Set of 3 VIntage Hartmann Tweed & Leather Toile Interior Suitcases Mid-Century

  

Stunning set of 3 classic mid-century Hartmann stacking suitcases! Would be great for a stacking display! They are in very good vintage condition. The interiors are in great condition, with a pretty brown toile matching pattern in all three.

The outside leather has some wear but still in great usable condition. The most wear is on the bottom of the largest one. The last photo shows the wear on the leather at the center, otherwise there are some dark spots on the leather on some but it has a quaint, vintage traveler look!

I would still call them a set. The Hartmann signature is on the sides of all three, and luckily all on the same (left) side, so if you choose to make a stacking display of these, the signatures will show well. The largest and smallest have matching signatures and the middle logo is different - see photos.

Measuresments are, from large to small: 26 w by 8 1/4 deep by 18 1/2 tall 24 by 6.75 by 17 1/2 21 by 7.25 by 12 I do not have keys. I have checked and double checked all locks and closures and they work. As with all Hartmann luggage, there seems to be a bit of a bit of a trick to learn in closing - primarily close the center first and then give the side locks a press on the outside, but they all work. This is a pretty set with a great vintage, world-traveled look. It came from a local, very elegant deep South mansion-type estate. Due to the depths and the handles, they won't all three fit nestled.
